Garden of Oceanic Wilderness. Gouache, watercolor, ink, acrylic, and pencil on paper mounted on canvas. 90 x 100 cm, 2015. (SOLD)
This painting is what you can call one of my key paintings. With this painting I reached something that I had been aiming at for years. That was to be able to create a certain harmony with a very intense mixture of patterns and colors. This painting together with five others of mine, hangs at the Hotel Espléndido in Mallorca, Spain.
This painting is a part one of my Tutti Frutti Paintings. The Tutti Frutti Paintings all consists of what I see as an explosion of colors and patterns. I want these paintings to be a bit hard to take in at the first glance. The point is to get to know or understand the painting and then be able to also see the structure in it. All chaos also consists of harmony.
